The basement of a house is a very part and portion. It is also a vital part of Vastu Section. The basement of a plot denotes that how far the plot is long. The empty place is considered as the auspicious part. It is true that the basement is needed for every construction. The basement is also required for the residential house too. But as per Vastu it is considered that the low based house is not good for the basement. So you must avoid the basement for this thing. There are few rules to make a basement. These rules are called or known as the Vastu rules.

It is stated that a basement never be used for the sleeping purpose. It is really not good for heath. So no one use it for this purpose. It is always seen that basement must need the limited light. It is according to the Vastu rules. This portion of the house is also not applied for the residential use.

It is fact that you may use the basement as your store room. You may also make an office upon the basement. It will be good according to the Vastu rules. It is stated that the interior of the basement must be according to the Vastu rules. It will good for everything. Don’t need to make the basement as the odd or different shape. In this respect it never is used for the business purpose because it will be the cause of a great loss.

The empty space of a basement must be at the Northern side. The wall of the basement must be 9 feet or 10 feet at height.

The colour if the basement will be white o may be any light colour. But white is the most suitable colour for it. But don’t use any dark colours. Not to use blue, black or such type colour.

It must be a matter of consider that the light should be entered into the basement; otherwise it would be not good for the place.

The best location or side for the basement is towards the West, South or it may be even to the South-East. The reason for it because the sunlight will be sufficient for that. That will be healthy foe the basement.

The North – East corner is not good for the basement position because the sun light will not enter into it.

According to the Vastu rules study room never is upon the basement.

Basement is also not profitable for any kind of running business. There is a possibility of lots of loss over there. The structural part of the basement is also very noticeable for this. Otherwise it would be a serious issue in terms of bad condition.

The case counter also never is at the basement. It is not good for that.

If anyone likes to live on the basement, there is a possibility that they may fall ill. So try to avoid that thing.

We may keep a large size mirror at the basement because it will help to enter the sun light inside the room.

If the kitchen of a hotel is made according to the rules of Vastu, then there is good and profitable chance to make a hotel upon the basement.
