Pratyusha Banerjee was born on 10th August 1991 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, India. She was an Indian actress predominantly working in Indian Television. She rose to fame with 2010 Color TV show Balika Badhu playing grown up Anandi. She was chosen from a talent hunt. After a successful stint, she left the show and participated in Dance Contest Jhalaak Dikhhla Jaa(season 5). She appeared successfully in Bigg Boss and Power Couple with her partner rahgul raj Singh. She played prominent characters in Gulmohar Grand, Hum Hain Na and Sasural Simar Ka. She was found hanging and died of asphyxia on 1st April 2016.
