Shashikala, whose full name is Shashikala Om Prakash Saigal was born on 4th august 1932. She is a notable Indian television actress. She also acted in supporting roles of over 100 films. After appearing as a junior artist in many films, she got her first big break in Tarachand Brajatiyas Arti (1964). She received a Filmfare Award for her negative role. Next, she went on to appear in bubbly and feisty roles of Phool Aur Patthar, Gumrah, Waqt, Junglee, Anupama, Khoobsurat, Ayi Milan Ki Bela, etc. On television, she performed in series like Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, Apnaapan, Son Pari, Dil Dekho Dekho.
