The girl with hazel grey eyes took the limelight towards her in the famous role of a strong sportswoman Preeti Sabarwal from Chak De India (2007) as she used to play hockey before joining the modelling world. Born on 8 th Jan, 1986 to a royal family of Shahu family of Kolhapur, Maharashtra her father is Vijaysingh Ghatge and mother Urmila Gathge. She is now married to the famous cricketer Zaheer Khan. She did her schooling from Mayo College Girls School and graduated from Mumbai, H.R.College. She did some of the Bollywood films like Rush (2012), Premachi Goshta (2013) and Dildariyaan (2015).
