Pradip Sarkar is known for his directorial debut from the film Parineeta for the Vinod Chopra Productions in 2005 and won the National Award for the best debut director. He received many awards like Abby, Rapa, and National Award also. He was born on 30 th April, 1955 in Kolkata and graduated from Delhi College of Art (Gold medalist). He is the creative director and has numerous ad films like ICICI, Tata Yellow Pages and many more. He directed some music videos for Subha Mudgal, Euphoria etc but his most popular video was Bhupen Hazarika s album Ganga.
