His notable plays include Lobh Nasava Hi Vinant, Sandhyachaya, Naatigoti, Javai Maza Bhala, etc. His Marathi television shows included Turtur, Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre. His comical drama films include Ek Daav Bhutacha (1982), Zapatlela(1993),Chaukat Raja (1991). His Bollywood films include Encounter: The Killing and Lage Raho Munnabhai(2006) where he portrayed the role of Mahatma Gandhi.
